Red Sea, Freediving Week 2nd to the 9th of November 2008
The Freediving week will take place in the beautiful and rich waters of Sharm el Sheikh, in the Red Sea, during the week that last from the 2nd to the 9th of November 2008. It will be possible to train all together in constant, variable, static and dynamic. The week will be organized as an open opportunity to join for all freedivers, their relatives and friends. It will be possible to dive with some of the best freedivers in the world. During this week , Umberto Pelizzari will take one of his courses. For further information and detailes click here. During the Freediving Week, there will be a sled for the variable weight available for all the freedivers, and some Apnea Academy Instructors will be present to guarantee the assistance. A diving area with about ten diving lines for the constant weight will be placed at different depths for any level freedivers. The diving area (for the constant and the variable) will be located next to the beach; it will be easily reachable and it won’t be necessary to use a boat to reach the diving place. Local organization, Apnea Academy Egypt, will provide to the athletes the weight for the belt, a warehouse room for the equipment that needs to be kept during the night, logistic support etc. For all these services, for the whole week, the cost will be 35 euro per person. The money will be paid to the local organization at the arrival in Sharm. Water temperature is around 27° (Celsius) with an about 35 metres of visibility. Air temperature will be about 30 degrees. The Freediving Week will take place at COLUMBUS CLUB SHARM in Sharm el Sheihk. On www.columbusviaggi.it at the link of Red Sea - Sharm el Sheihk, all information about the Village, will be available. All inclusive cost (in double room, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks during the day) is 40 euro per person. Flight will be bought from each diver in his own country.
